Custom Made Kicked Off A Year Of Friendship
Girls followed the butterflies to Custom Made on Saturday, August 28th, to kick off the second year of fun! The theme for this year is learning everything about friendship. The girls kicked off the fun learning about Jesus, their ABFF, and how God is our ultimate Friendship Coach who created friendship as a gift from you to others. They learned how to have a personal devotional time and wrapped things up learning how to create a turkey wrap. During Salt Shaker time, the girls heard about missionary work that the Teels did in Brazil. It was a fun first day for the new Custom MaImportant News
NEXT MONTH: In September at 11 a.m., we'll have special speaker, Meredith Whitmore, from Focus on the Family's Plugged In Movie Review Team talking about Media Discernment. Parents of 2nd and 5th graders along with their BOY or GIRL is invited at 11 a.m. @ VGBC.

Make New Friends At Custom Made This Fall
For Tween Girls We are excited to have 53 girls registered for Custom Made. There are 12 more available spaces as we will cap at 65 to ensure teacher ratios. Register for Custom Made 2010-11 (Must be completed by parent) | For Moms During Custom Made Saturdays, moms will be talking about spicing up their mother-daughter relationships with small group discussion and interaction. Becky Freeman's book, "Mom's Everything Book For Daughters" will be used for discussion. |
What is Custom Made?
Today, girls are being bombarded by worldly messages that affect their attitudes, character and worldview. Custom Made is a ministry to counteract the effects of these worldly messages by teaching the girls Biblical worldview concepts and character while incorporating fun practical life skills and mission service ideas.
